字體大，字數不多，用字也不艱深（不用常常查字典），很適合我這大懶人。書中主角是一個愛遊歷各方的牧羊人，為了尋找夢中的寶藏，拋下一切，從西班牙遠征埃及。途中遇上一生中的摰愛，又在尋寶過程中認識生命的真理...
書中的金句：
"My Heart Is Afraid that it will have to suffer," the boy told the alchemist one night as they looked up at the moonless sky. "Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams."
When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that
person to realize his dream.
Everyone, when they are young, knows what their Personal Legend is.... At that
point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible.
To
realize one's Personal Legend is a person's only real obligation.
Angels & Demons - 故事發生在 Da Vinci Code 事件前一年，但兩個故事沒關係。剛開始看，希望快點完成。沒打算進戲院看電影，大條道理要解釋的故事，很難會拍得緊湊好看。
